Launching November 2026

Cloud-Fi Watch.
The video library, in your Wi-Fi.

Remember the video library on the corner, where you borrowed films and whole series for a few days? Watch is that, in digital form. A small server in your building holds the whole shelf. Guests pay for a pass on their phone by Mobile Money and watch as much as they like over your Wi-Fi: every film, every series, news and football replays. Nothing comes off their data bundle, and nothing buffers, because the films are already in the building.

How it works

  1. A small server in your building

It sits next to your Cloud-Fi gateway. We install it and look after it with the rest of your network.

  2. New films arrive overnight

Each night the server fetches the latest titles from our library while the building sleeps. By morning they play from inside your walls, so there is no buffering and no data used.

  3. Guests buy a pass and watch on their own phones

They connect to your Wi-Fi, open Watch and buy a pass for 24 hours, a few days, a week or a month. The pass opens everything on the server. Paid by MTN MoMo or Airtel Money, or free where you choose to include it.

What's on

Ugandan films and series first, then local and international news, and football matches replayed after they have aired. The shelf grows every month, and we welcome local film-makers and studios who want their work watched.

Live sport and live television are not part of Watch today. If we add them through a media partner, we will say so here.

Passes

24 hoursEverything on the server, for a night.
A few daysA short stay, or a weekend of series.
One weekThe usual pick for guests staying a week.
One monthFor residents: hostel rooms and apartments.
IncludedHotels and lodges can switch passes off and give Watch free to every guest, and switch them back on any time.

Every pass opens the whole shelf, as many films and series as the guest wants in that time. One pass works on one device. Pass prices are set with you per building. Guests pay by Mobile Money on the same login page as your Wi-Fi. Watch is a video library in the sense UCC licenses them, and we license it the same way.

Good for

Hostels

Students buy a monthly pass and watch in their rooms. Your Wi-Fi earns twice: once for access, once for Watch.

Apartment buildings

Entertainment included in the rent, or sold by the month. Either way, residents stop burning data on films.

Lodges and hotels

Give every guest free films and news on their own phone, with no satellite decoder in each room. Turn it on for guests, off for staff quarters.

Questions

Does it need my internet line?

Only overnight, to fetch new titles. During the day guests watch from the server inside the building, so your line stays free for work.

What if the server has a problem?

We watch it from our NOC in Kampala with the rest of your network. Films still stored on it keep playing.

Who gets the money?

Pass sales come through the Cloud-Fi platform like Wi-Fi sales, and your share is paid to your Mobile Money daily.

Can I start small?

Yes. One server covers one building. Add another building when you are ready.
